On 15th Rajab 1447 AH, we set out to document some parts of our journey in becoming mindful of Allah ﷻ. Our goal is to spend the next five years trying to act upon the following saying of our Master, Muhammad the Chosen One ﷺ:
Keep God in mind wherever you are; follow a wrong with a right that offsets it; and treat people courteously. [At-Tirmidhī]
Blissful Connection is intended to be a place of awareness for the Sālik (spiritual wayfarer) and must only be seen as a starting point for those who want to become spiritual wayfarers. Therefore, it must not be seen as an alternative to a Tarīqah (spiritual path) nor a replacement for the guidance of al-Murshid al-Kāmil (the perfect guide).
Finally, we will be using Ādāb al-Sulūk (A Treatise on Spiritual Wayfaring) of Shaykh Najm al-Dīn al-Kubrā as our principal guide. We ask Allah ﷻ to bless us with success, closeness and acceptance. May we spend our whole lives in pursuing a blissful connection with Him ﷻ in every action, every stillness, every thought and our every breath. Āmīn.
